Grilled Chicken Wings with Cherry 'Chups Wing Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 packs of chicken wings cut into sections (24 total)
- 1/2 cup Cherry 'Chups
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 Tbsp cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp sriracha
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Rinse wing pieces in cold water and pat dry thoroughly with paper towels
- Place wings on paper towels on a baking pan and refrigerate, uncovered, for 30 min to 1 hr
- Combine 'Chups, honey, vinegar, and sriracha in a bowl and set aside
- Preheat grill to 300 degrees (medium-low setting)
- Season wings with salt and pepper and place on grill skin side up over indirect heat, if possible
- Grill approximately 1 hour until wings have browned and skin is crispy
- Remove wings to a large bowl and drizzle 1/3 of the wing sauce over top, tossing wings to coat evenly
- Place wings back on grill for 10 minutes
- Repeat steps 7 and 8
- Remove wings from grill and toss with remaining 1/3 of the wing sauce before serving
